Our pricing model is designed to be transparent and straightforward. Every orthotic device price includes your fitting appointment, where we ensure the device fits correctly and make any necessary adjustments. You'll also receive comprehensive instructions for use and care, plus any modifications needed during the fitting process. Follow-up support is included to ensure your orthotic is working optimally.
Initial Assessment (£50)
Your initial assessment is a comprehensive 45 minute consultation that includes a detailed medical history review, biomechanical examination of your lower limbs, gait analysis, 3D foot scanning where appropriate, and a complete explanation of findings and treatment options. The assessment fee is separate from device costs and payable on the day. If you proceed with orthotic treatment, this thorough assessment ensures we create the most effective device for your specific needs.
Custom Foot Orthotics (£260-£285)
Our custom foot orthotics are precision-engineered devices tailored to your unique foot structure and biomechanics. The price includes 3D scanning or plaster casting, custom fabrication to address your specific condition, posting adjustments for optimal biomechanical correction, cushioning pads where needed, premium top covers for comfort, fitting appointment with adjustments, and follow-up support. Total Contact Insoles are ideal for diabetic foot care and pressure distribution, while Functional Foot Orthoses (£285) provide maximum biomechanical control for conditions like plantar fasciitis, overpronation, and sports injuries.
Ankle-Foot Orthoses (AFOs)
AFO pricing varies based on complexity and technology. Custom molded AFOs are individually crafted to your leg and foot measurements, providing optimal fit and function. Hinged versions offer ankle movement while controlling unwanted motion. Stock AFOs (£490-£950) from leading manufacturers like TurboMed offer excellent performance with the advantage of immediate availability. We'll help you choose between custom and stock options based on your clinical needs, lifestyle, and budget. All AFO prices include professional fitting, strapping systems, and necessary padding for comfort.
Scoliosis Bracing
The Neja RSC Brace represents a significant investment in advanced scoliosis management. This sophisticated 3D-corrective brace is manufactured in partnership with European specialists using precise CAD/CAM technology from X-ray measurements. The price includes comprehensive treatment planning, brace manufacture to exact specifications, expert fitting and adjustments, wearing schedule guidance, specific exercise recommendations, and ongoing monitoring throughout treatment. Boston Braces offer a more affordable alternative for appropriate curve patterns. We're happy to discuss both options during your assessment to determine the most suitable approach for your curve type and treatment goals.
Payment Options
We accept card payments through Stripe for your convenience and security. Payment is required at the time of service for assessments and upon device collection for orthotic products. We provide detailed receipts for all payments, which many patients successfully claim through private health insurance. We recommend checking your insurance policy coverage before your appointment. For scoliosis bracing, we can discuss payment plans for the Neja RSC brace given the higher investment involved.
Insurance and Reimbursement
While we don't bill insurance companies directly, many of our patients have private health insurance that covers orthotic treatment. Policies from providers like AXA, Bupa, Aviva often include orthotic coverage.
